R2-D2 is one of the most beloved droids in the Star Wars universe. Known for his courage, resourcefulness, and unwavering loyalty, the astromech droid has accompanied legendary heroes throughout the saga, including Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia Organa.

Before R2-D2 became the familiar blue-and-white astromech seen in the films, legendary concept artist Ralph McQuarrie helped develop the visual identity of the character through early illustrations. His artwork played an essential role in establishing the distinctive droid designs and futuristic technology that would become central to the Star Wars universe.

This Concept Series Edition celebrates R2-D2's original artistic development, offering collectors a different interpretation of the iconic astromech. The concept-inspired appearance makes R2-D2 #424 a distinctive addition to collections featuring the history and evolution of Star Wars characters.

Whether you're collecting R2-D2 variants, Ralph McQuarrie-inspired designs, classic Star Wars droids, or building a dedicated Star Wars Concept Series collection, R2-D2 #424 makes a standout addition to your display.

Each figure ships with a Pop protector to help keep your collectible display-ready.
