Display Tip: Display Saul with Nico Robin #2570 alongside Demonio Fleur #2572, Nico Robin, Monkey D. Luffy, and other One Piece Funko Pop! figures to celebrate Robin's journey from the island of Ohara to the Straw Hat Pirates.

Jaguar D. Saul is a giant and former Vice Admiral of the Marines who plays an important role in Nico Robin's childhood. Unlike many high-ranking Marines, Saul possesses a compassionate personality and a strong sense of justice that leads him to question the World Government's actions. His kindness and willingness to protect innocent people ultimately bring him into conflict with the organization he once served.

Saul's story becomes closely connected to Nico Robin, a young girl growing up on the island of Ohara. Known for its brilliant archaeologists and scholars, Ohara is home to researchers studying the mysterious Poneglyphs and the forbidden history of the Void Century. Despite her extraordinary intelligence and ability to read ancient texts, Robin experiences a lonely childhood, frequently facing rejection because of her Devil Fruit powers.

After Saul washes ashore on Ohara, he encounters Robin and quickly develops a friendship with her. Unlike many people in her life, Saul treats Robin with warmth, understanding, and genuine kindness. Their conversations provide Robin with a rare sense of acceptance, allowing her to experience the happiness and companionship she has been missing.

One of Saul's most memorable contributions to Robin's life is teaching her the importance of laughter. Known for his distinctive laugh, "Dereshishishi," Saul encourages Robin to smile even during difficult moments. He reminds her that life will not always be filled with loneliness and that somewhere in the world, she will eventually find friends who accept her for who she is.

During the tragic events of the Ohara Incident, the World Government orders a Buster Call against the island after discovering that its scholars have been researching forbidden history. As Marine warships surround Ohara and the island faces destruction, Saul chooses to protect Robin rather than obey the orders of the organization he once served.

Saul's determination to save Robin becomes one of the most emotional moments in the series. Despite facing overwhelming danger, he helps her escape and encourages her to continue living. His final words to Robin emphasize that nobody is born into the world to be completely alone and that she will eventually find people who truly care about her.

Saul's kindness leaves a lasting impact on Robin, shaping her outlook on friendship, trust, and belonging. Although she spends years being pursued by the World Government and struggling to survive, the hope Saul gives her remains an important part of her character. His belief that she will someday find true companions is eventually fulfilled when she joins Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates.

Robin's emotional journey reaches another defining moment during the Enies Lobby arc, when the Straw Hats openly challenge the World Government to rescue her. After years of believing that her existence would only bring suffering to others, Robin finally declares her desire to live. This unforgettable scene reflects the hope Saul gave her as a child and the importance of finding people willing to stand beside her.

The relationship between Saul and Robin represents one of the central themes of One Piece: the importance of friendship, chosen family, and finding a place where you belong. Their story continues to resonate with fans because of its emotional depth and its lasting influence on Robin's development throughout the series.

Funko Pop! Super Saul with Nico Robin #2570 brings these two beloved characters together in one oversized collectible. Unlike traditional single-character Funko Pop! figures, this Super Pop! highlights the connection between Saul and young Robin, celebrating a friendship that helped shape one of the Straw Hat Pirates' most important members.

For fans of Nico Robin, this collectible offers a meaningful companion to figures featuring her later adventures, including her powerful Demonio Fleur transformation. Displaying Saul with Nico Robin alongside other Straw Hat Pirates creates a visual tribute to her journey from a lonely child on Ohara to a valued member of Luffy's crew.
