Created by Japanese artist Mori Chack in 2000, Gloomy Bear is a pink grizzly who was rescued as a cub by a young boy named Pity. As Gloomy grew up, his wild instincts took over and he became infamous for attacking the very boy who raised him, a darkly funny mix of cuteness and mayhem that has earned him a cult following and his own 2021 anime series, Gloomy the Naughty Grizzly.

Funko Pop! #1218 was released in 2022 as a Toy Tokyo exclusive, sold through the famous New York City specialty shop, and has since been vaulted.

Whether you're collecting kawaii-horror icons, Japanese pop culture, or Toy Tokyo exclusives, Gloomy Bear #1218 makes a standout addition to your display.

Each figure ships with a Pop protector to help keep your collectible display-ready.

Yes. Surplus Hive is an Authorized Funko Retailer. That means Funko has approved us to sell their products, and every Pop we carry comes from Funko or its authorized distributors, never from unknown third-party sellers.

So every Pop is 100% authentic and officially licensed, exactly as Funko made it. No bootlegs, knockoffs or unofficial replicas.
