More than a collection

Pop the stigma. Join the hive.

The Hive is a community of collectors. That means we look out for each other — not just for the next grail. Mental health is part of that, and we would rather talk about it openly than pretend it isn't in the room.

Why a Funko store is talking about this

Collecting is rarely just about the vinyl. People collect for comfort, for nostalgia, for the small reliable joy of a shelf that looks the way they want the world to look. For a lot of us it is a way of coping — and that is worth saying out loud rather than treating as a punchline.

The flip side is real too. Collecting can tip into spending you regret, or into isolation dressed up as a hobby. Naming that honestly is part of popping the stigma as well.

We are not therapists and we are not pretending to be. We are a shop with an audience, and we would rather use that reach to point people toward real help than say nothing at all.

What the Hive stands for

  • Connection starts here

Every collection has a story. Sharing what we love is often the easiest way into a conversation that matters.

  • No judgment, just community

Collect for comfort, nostalgia, creativity, or fun. Nobody here needs to justify what helps them.

  • Support is strength

Checking in, speaking up, and asking for help are acts of courage. Nobody should struggle in silence.
